NYSDEC MS4 Storm Water Complaince Page
Every Village in Nassau County is responsible
for complying with a NYSDEC Storm Water Discharge Permit (MS4). Four
years ago, the Village committed itself to developing a Storm Water
Management Plan and in this plan there were several items that the
Village stated it would complete in order to educate the
public with the ultimate goal of protecting the water quality of Manhasset
Bay and Mill Pond. The Village appointed the Volunteer Robert Keane,
PE to be its Storm Water Contact.
Below are several
useful links to pages to help reduce waste. This page will be updated
to describe the permit program, requirements and how the Village is
complying with the program.

Port North adopted two
