The Village has been working closely with the Town of North Hempstead to monitor aircraft noise and have a voice in trying to reduce it. The Town has issued an Aircraft Noise Education and Outreach Committee Newsletter which is now available by clicking on the below link.
The Newsletter includes articles regarding the use of aircraft noise in the Town (but relates to all Nassau County and NYC communities affected by it), how it affects the quality of life, information about local initiatives and possible remedies for the problem. This is a “must read” for every resident!
